The Book of Kin
Welcome to The Book of Kin, where we aim to encourage connection and build community. There are five unique books that form the series, each exploring ways to embrace and enable cohesive kinship. Humanity is more than greed, division or ego. We have an inherent need to belong and to be loved. We are all here for such a short amount of time, what a shame to spend it obsessing over things that don’t really matter. What matters is the connections we make, in the real world, and the impact we have on others. That’s where The Book of Kin comes in. We want to spark conversations and seed ideas that help to create communities and affect positive and meaningful change for everyone to benefit from.

In a melancholic city of towering skyscrapers, bombarding billboards and blinding screens, resides a dopamine addicted society.
The hustle and bustle of day precedes the lonely isolation of night, as they return, alone, to soulless utilitarian apartments where screens consume their remaining waking hours.
Spiralling further into depression and anxiety, consuming more but never being nourished, one Man falls into a mysterious underworld, where a metamorphosis begins…
And when he eventually returns to the city above, a seed travels with him.
A seed of community.
A seed of hope.

Men O'War - The Book of Kin (2026)
Told in a world of humanoid marine animals, Men O’ War revolves around a parasite called the Rorschach algae that infects a jellyfish bloom and those who consume it.
The Lost Tribe - The Book of Kin (2027)
After a swamp native rescues her baby from her own tribe, she stumbles upon a research facility. The scientists take them back to urban civilisation where they're forced to assimilate.
Order Isoptera - The Book of Kin (2028)
Follows a strong-willed Termite who is in search of something more beyond her duties building a mound within her colony.
The Girl Who Could Hear Grass Grow - The Book of Kin (2029)
A blind girl accidentally knocks an oil lamp over, resulting in her house burning down and killing her family in the process. Banished from the village and haunted by remorse, she has to learn to fend for herself in the jungle.
